Added to the Church is a Christian family armed with the calling to glorify the Lord by helping others to blaze a life of faith, hope, and love for Christ.

Where It All Started
Since DJ Curry was added to the church of Christ, his goal has been to serve Christ continually as he and his family continued to grow in Christ and serve the kingdom of God. It has been their desire for more ways to share God’s word and grace with the world; all for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ! In 2024, DJ and Sarah Curry founded Added to the Church in order to create a new avenue for Christian education and encouragement to be shared throughout the world.
Located in Parkersburg, West Virginia, DJ and Sarah look to spread the message of Christ far behind the country roads and mountain ranges of West Virginia.
The Aim of Added to the Church
Added to the Church is seeking to be well pleasing to the Lord by shining the light of His word to equip saints for excellent service in His kingdom. We aim to do this through our educating and uplifting Christian articles, the Mountain Messenger, and children’s material. Our goal is to help all readers develop a greater understanding of the Creator of the World and His great love for them. Therefore, we aim to be a beacon of light, pointing people in the direction of salvation, in a dark and confusing world.
Seven Facts About Us
- This company is responsible for the publication “Mountain Messenger.”
- It is family-run and operated.
- Every contributor to this business is a Christian.
- Added to the Church got its name from Acts 2:47. “…And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved” (Acts 2:47b).
- The love for this phrase “Added to the Church” is due to the teaching of that passage that God personally adds to His church. It is not something we join, but we have to be added to, and the Lord added to the church.
- Sarah Curry is writing a children’s book titled “Wonderfully Made,” which will be available in the near future.
- Sarah Curry has recently begun a women’s social media group that she co-stars in called “Sisters of Fidelity.”
